1. ⁠Product Overview

Our Flatland Fishtale Skimboards are handmade boards crafted from premium-grade plywood and coated with protective resin. Each board is unique, featuring natural wood textures and handcrafted finishes.

Because of the nature of handmade production, slight variations in shape, color, and finish are normal and part of the board’s unique identity.

2.⁠ ⁠Usage & Care

•⁠ ⁠These boards are designed for flatland and shallow-water skimboarding only.

•⁠ ⁠Avoid using the board in deep water, rocky areas, or high-impact surf zones.

•⁠ ⁠After each use, rinse with fresh water and store in a dry, shaded place.

•⁠ ⁠Do not leave the board under direct sunlight or inside a hot car for long periods — heat can affect the resin coating.

•⁠ ⁠Avoid dragging the board on rough surfaces to prevent scratches or cracks.

3.⁠ ⁠Warranty & Repairs

•⁠ ⁠Each board comes with a 30-day manufacturing warranty covering structural defects (delamination, joint failure, etc.).

•⁠ ⁠The warranty does not cover:

•⁠ ⁠Damage from misuse, impact, or neglect.

•⁠ ⁠Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, discoloration).

•⁠ ⁠Water damage due to improper sealing care.

•⁠ ⁠Minor damages or re-coating needs can be repaired at an additional cost — reach out to our team at support@skimb.co or DM us on Instagram @skimb.co for assistance.

4.⁠ ⁠Returns & Exchanges

•⁠ ⁠Since each board is custom-made, returns are not accepted once the product has been used or exposed to water.

•⁠ ⁠If your board arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll offer a replacement or repair.

•⁠ ⁠Exchanges for size or model are possible only before the board has been shipped.

5.⁠ ⁠Safety Disclaimer

•⁠ ⁠Skimboarding is a physical activity that carries risks. Please practice responsibly.

•⁠ ⁠Always check your riding area for obstacles, rocks, or debris.

•⁠ ⁠The user assumes full responsibility for any injuries or damages that occur during use.

•⁠ ⁠Skimb Co. is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from misuse of the product.

All content, designs, and imagery related to Skimb Co. and the Flatland Fishtale Skimboard are protected by copyright.

No part of this website or our product designs may be reproduced or resold without written permission.
